The 4th annual Derby Mini Maker Faire at The Silk Mill, the site of the world’s first factory and the gateway to the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage site, returns on Saturday 24 October 2015.
This year is the biggest Faire yet – we are doubling in size with the addition of a brand new Maker Showcase Marquee outside on Cathedral Green. We need enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking volunteers to help us make this Maker Faire the most successful Faire yet!

We’re looking for makers, lots of makers – particularly local makers from Derby, Derbyshire and the East Midlands to help show we have the best makers in the world!

We will shortly be announcing our ‘call for makers’ for the 2nd Derby Maker Faire, planned to coincide with Derbyshire Discovery Days on the 26 October 2013 – please put this date in your diaries!
