Fun with Pen Plotters
See what was used before the ink-jet printer. The flat bed pen plotter was used to make engineering and architectural drawings of all kinds and here there will be an 8 pen plotter linked to a modern laptop to produce geometrical art.
HAC Manchester
HAC Manchester will be bringing Giant Stupid Toys that they have built at their Hackspace including the oversized project-a-sketch and roboperation

A live autostereogram video display, like the ‘magic eye’ images from the ‘90’s and an experiment that creates static electricity. They will also have a radio controlled Segway-like two wheel self-balancing robot.

Mechanical Computing – adding two numbers together in a week without transistors but using magnets, springs and ball bearings.
London Hackspace
Will be bringing a number of differently themed Minigolf courses including a Crystal maze and minecraft

The National Museum of Computing is dedicated to showing the development of computing in its broadest sense from pioneering war time efforts to the products we use today. There will be various working computer systems on show as well as BASIC programming that anyone can learn with a little guidance.
