y building, the site of the world’s first factory!
We intend the Maker Faire to be an annual event at the Silk Mill. This year’s faire
is a pilot to help inform our programming going forwards into 2013, when Derby Silk Mill will be reopened in Phase 1 of the development of our building as a beautiful space to inspire people into Britain’s heritage and culture of the making of real and useful things.
We are incredibly to our supporting organisations who have helped in a number of crucial ways with resources and time.
